There are very few feelings as heart-wrenching, bittersweet, and melancholic as longing to go home and knowing there is no easy way to get there. Home can be a house, a city, a person, family, friends, or even just a feeling of belonging, but one thing is true among all definitions of home — when we are away, we miss it deeply. Homesickness isn’t always easy to express, but these songs capture the many different ways we yearn for home when we aren’t there.
