Photo Story: ACL 2020 At Home

Due to the current pandemic, Austin City Limits 2020 was inevitably cancelled. Instead, I celebrated this year’s festival indoors with a few close friends.

Around this time last year, I was covering the 2019 Austin City Limits festival for Afterglow. It was my first time attending and shooting a major music festival, and I had the opportunity to see and capture artists that I have listened to for years. That weekend in October was both fulfilling and exhausting (and one of the best experiences of my life).

As a result, I was looking forward to this year’s festival, but I was unsurprised when it was announced that it was cancelled. So, instead of spending three days in the sun struggling to get close to the stage, I spent a night watching a few iconic ACL performances from over the years.
