Growing up, we’ve all been there: backseat of your parents’ car, looking out the window, and imagining that you were the star of the music video for a song playing on the radio. The idea of being the focus in a story much more interesting than your own could be so appealing, and it never really goes away when you’re older. So even if it doesn’t feel like it at times, it's important to remember that you actually are the main character.
