Outside of our atmosphere, the rover, Perseverance, has been roaming. A little less than a year after its initial launch date, Mars 2020 overcame unforeseen odds. In the light, thin air of Mars, with a gravitational pull three times lighter than ours, the small machine is documenting the otherworldly red rock. Although the mission has no official soundtrack, these floaty and far-out songs from Declan McKenna, Jai Paul, Marian Hill, and more could easily keep the rover company for its journey through an unknown land 170 million miles away.
