Whether your day’s been spectacular, or a little more on the rough side, you deserve a little treat. Under any circumstance — whether it’s final exam season, an existential crisis, unbearable period cramps, or just one of those days — getting yourself a little treat is a quick way to raise your spirits. “Little treat” culture has been all over the internet, encouraging everyone to buy themselves something small to celebrate both small and big accomplishments. A quick coffee run, a refreshing bite of your favorite fruit, or a cool sip of your drink of preference can make all the difference; but sometimes, we college students can’t afford those little treats. However, catchy pop anthems can sometimes be a great alternative for that boba you’ve been craving. From songs like Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” to Rupert Holmes’ “Escape (The Piña Colada Song),” this playlist caters to all the “little treat” cravings you might have. With their catchy melodies and energetic production, these tunes are another option that are bound to add an extra pep in your step. After all, edible little treats are not the only way to sweeten your day.
