As depicted in the cult classic 2012 drama “Spring Breakers,” no one ventures on a mid-semester escapade quite like American college students. It’s a tale as old as time: finding freedom and discovering yourself at a vacation destination of your choice. However, these adventures don't come with an assurance that you’ll have it all figured out. Whether it’s your first or last go-around, making mistakes is a part of the journey, and binding yourself to your impulses makes the week-long exploit all the more fun.

The all-too-relatable (Relient K’s “College Kids”), rebellious (We The King’s “Check Yes, Juliet”), and care-free (Fall Out Boy’s “Dance, Dance”) lyrics of these early 2000s grunge tracks acknowledge the frustration and fear that lurk in your early 20s. Feel free to adopt the artists’ fuck-all attitude about the future and focus on the now. You’re still young, after all.
